1. It boggles the mind the Supreme Court declined to hear an appeal of a 9th circuit support for vaccine mandates as long as the State claims them necessary to support something called “public” health – as if infectious spread remains anything more than a weak theory. Already, residents in five States can’t escape mandates at all. With RFK, Jr.’s attempt to conform the schedule with Europe thrown out by another court, it’s time for the traditional health-freedom movement to return to its origins: fighting to repeal and prohibit State vaccine and medical mandates.  Advocates for three decades have relied on the counsel of Dawn Richardson in these State battles. Her tracking, analysis, and recommended actions in response to  relevant bills in all 50 States have made it easy for residents in any State to communicate with their legislators about how to truly advance and protect health freedom, especially when it comes to protecting informed consent and the right to refuse without penalty, coercion, or harassment. NHF has long encouraged its own members to send our email for State informed consent to their legislators.
2. Beyond State mandate bans, health-freedom advocates need to go on offense to assert our broader right to control our total health decisions. Mr. Michael LeVesque authored the Medical Freedom Amendment and along with NHF manages its advocacy response to this rapidly evolving landscape. This is one of the most important initiatives in the health-freedom movement today, the Medical Freedom Amendment, which declares that, “All people have the Right to secure their Health in the manner they choose” and seeks to permanently establish the rights to informed consent, medical choice, medical privacy, and the right to own and control your biological data. Of the amendment, Michael says it establishes that “Your body is not government property; your data is not a corporate asset, and your consent is not negotiable.” The amendment explicitly states that all biological and medical data belongs to the individual, and cannot be accessed, stored, or used without explicit, informed, and revocable consent.
