NHF lobbyist Frohman gave a 3-minute warning on how the Wireless Mesh’s antennas outside our bedrooms, classrooms, offices, farms & parks will spy on, fry & coerce Americans into a Digital Prison.
While Electromagnetic Radiation symptoms affect up to a third of Americans, severe injury still is limited to the single digits and health concerns are not on the minds of politicians eagerly accepting corporate contributions in exchange for votes for the Wireless Mesh.
One of these votes is tomorrow, Tuesday, April 9th, so we need your calls and emails today and all week (in case the vote gets delayed).
We just learned that HR 6492 – carpeting government lands with 5G wireless antennas – came out of the Natural Resources Committee on Friday and is scheduled for a vote on the House floor tomorrow.
HR 6492 is an omnibus Federal lands bill that incorporates the Connect Our Parks Act (HR 5919, S.2018 & S.873), and would cover Federal recreational lands with cell towers, including National Park Service and wilderness areas. Just what we all need, right, to zap our outdoor wilderness areas with dangerous, bee-killing wireless?
To defeat this Wireless Lands bill, we need you TODAY (now, please) to:
(1) Click here to identify your U.S. Rep.
(2) CALL YOUR U.S. REPRESENTATIVE NOW – via the Capitol Operator, at 202-225-3121, AND TELL THEM:
Oppose HR 6492 unless Amended to:
- Expressly exclude wireless facilities from this bill (sec 141 and 142), so that only wired Internet is deployed
- Remove section 143, which allows industry consultants to approve and oversee wireless facilities – giving carte blanche to telecoms – which was slipped in at the last minute, just 2 working days before the vote!
Ask for the email of their “telecom LA” and send them the above.
Other points:
- Deploying wireless in our national parks will be disastrous:
- Faulty telecom equipment, has already caused multiple fires – in California the worst in its history (Woolsey fire 2018 caused $6 billion damages, 100,000 acres destroyed, 295,000 people evacuated, several deaths)
- People need time to escape and hope that they will outrun a fire in the forest
- People will not be able to make phone calls from a burning cell tower
- Electrical fires can’t be put out by ER personnel, but must burn out themselves.
- Alternatives to cell towers: Access for emergency response already is available via satellite on ordinary iPhones and existing emergency gadgets already being used by hikers.
- There exists no problem with the status quo that needs a legislative fix: existing 4G towers on remote hilltops & industrial zones offer reception as far as 9 miles; there is no need for 5G densification in our forests.
