FRENCH GcMAF CASE UPDATE – SUMMER 2021

NHF Chairman David Noakes has faced and endured charges and imprisonment for years now, all because of his noble efforts while CEO of Immuno Biotech to help people and animals who had cancer and other deadly diseases survive and get well. At last count David Noakes had helped at least 10,000 patients to survive when very little hope had been given for them. With no patient complaints, it was the pharmaceutical industry through its agency puppets who complained about David – first in the UK and then, when that did not seem to be punishment enough, in France.

After a four-day trial in Paris in late March 2021, David Noakes and Lynda Thyer were sentenced to four and three years in prison, respectively. Since Lynda Thyer had already served half of her sentence, she was released immediately to return home to England. David, having served proportionately less time in prison, went back to Fleury-Mérogis Prison in the southern suburbs of Paris, where he remains today, despite two efforts to get him out on parole.

The first effort, on June 30^th, was made by David’s attorney, David Apelbaum, and unfortunately failed. However, Apelbaum was successful in securing a special “detention” hearing to take place on August 3, 2021. Between those dates, however, David changed legal counsel, with Caroline Boyer replacing David Apelbaum in July. She appeared for David Noakes on August 3^rd, but the three-judge panel mercilessly shot down her ardent request for his liberty as well, claiming that David Noakes was a flight risk and that Brexit would impede any attempts to get him back from the UK should he flee there.

Regardless, the trial on appeal for David is set for December 6, 7, and 8, 2021, in the afternoons. This re-trial will take place at the Palais de Justice in the heart of Paris on the Île de la Cité.
