

Matt Warnock is the owner and chairman of RidgeCrest Herbals, a U.S. natural products industry leader. He is a successful entrepreneur, accidental herbalist, and former attorney who has committed his career to advancing the field of natural remedies and championing the efficacy and sustainability of herbal medicines. He has multiple patents in herbal medicine formulation, and is co-author (with Benton Bramwell, ND) of the book Rethinking Medicine: Harmonizing Science and Herbal Tradition. Portions of this book were previously published in the the Townsend Letter.
From a previous career as an attorney and business litigator, Matt joined the family business in 2000 and transitioned to the natural supplements sector. Since then, he has transformed and grown the company into a highly respected name in the field. Under his guidance, RidgeCrest Herbals’ has recently become a Certified B Corporation, displaying its commitment to social and environmental standards.
He is an advocate for public health policy and herbal medicine education. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the American Herbal Products Association, using his background in law and business to improve public health policy and encourage the integration of herbal therapies in modern healthcare. His previous trusteeships include the Santa Clara County Bar Association, the Santa Clara Council of the Boy Scouts of America, and the Wayne Brown Institute—a Utah-based non-profit supporting entrepreneurship.
His published writings and patents in herbal medicine reflect a deep understanding and passion for using nature’s potential to improve health.
