Why the Government Keeps Trying to Trick Us

Normal people understandably expect their elected officials and even regulators to be honest with them. Because normal people are typically honest and straightforward, they expect others to be that way as well, especially with all of the civic responsibility and pride already inculcated in them over their many years of public (government) schooling. And yet, time after wearying time we continue to be disappointed by government lies and trickery.

These last two years have seen government and mass-media lies elevated to high art form as they continually lie to us by exaggerating the dangers of COVID-19, bragging about the “safety and efficacy” of the highly experimental COVID-19 injections, and hiding the fact that the vaccinated are the true cause of the huge spike in COVID-19 cases.

Too Many Lies to Mention

            There is not a proper place to even begin listing the non-controversial lies and tricks thrown at us by the American and other governments worldwide. But let’s start with the end of the 19^th Century and mention just a fraction of the lies and cover-ups:

• 1898 – The U.S. armored cruiser Maine blew up in Havana harbor and the explosion was quickly blamed on Spain. Yet, decades later it was shown that the explosion was an internal one from coal-dust accumulation. Too late, though, to stop a war.
• 1910 – The Flexner Report was published with the support and funding of the Carnegie Foundation. This Report wrongly denigrated all natural medicine in favor of a medical elite that then used the Report to take over the practice of medicine and monetize it.
• 1915 – The sinking of the British civilian passenger cruiser RMS Lusitania was blamed entirely upon German terrorism on the High Seas; and, yet, the German government took out full-page ads in U.S. newspapers warning Americans against taking passage on British ships, knowing full well that they carried ammunition and weapons for the British, which made them fair game for German submarines. The Lusitania was struck by two torpedoes, but the resulting heavy explosions revealed that the British government had lied about its cargo manifest, which had considerable amounts of high explosives in its hold.
• 1917 – The fake Zimmerman Telegram helped launch the U.S. into the Great War. A total creation of British Intelligence, this fraudulent document purported to be a promise from the German Kaiser to the Mexican government that if Mexico would enter the war against the United States, then upon victory, Mexico would receive back Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and parts of California. Why Germany would even send this telegram when the U.S. was not at war with Germany was never adequately explained, but gullible Americans believed that it was true.
• 1932-1972 – For 40 years, 600 African-American men – most of whom were uneducated Alabama sharecroppers – were part of an unethical medical experiment that the U.S. Public Health Service conducted on them under the guise of “free health care.” Not only did the government lie to these men so that it could study the effects of syphilis, but it also withheld effective treatments.
• 1941 – The Japanese “sneak attack” at Pearl Harbor in the Hawaiian Islands was anything but a sneak attack since American codebreakers had already warned President Roosevelt of the impending attack, who slyly kept the warning to himself so that he could get Americans angry enough to demand U.S. entry into World War II.
• 1964 – The Warren Commission conducted an elaborately contrived cover-up of the JFK assassination the previous year. The Warren Commission Report was filled with one lie after another to fool the World into thinking that one man alone killed the U.S. President.
• 1964 – In the “Gulf of Tonkin Incident,” the Johnson Administration concocted a false story of a North Vietnamese naval attack by patrol boats on U.S. destroyers to justify its massive expansion of American involvement in the disastrous and costly Vietnam War.
• 1985-Present – Both the FDA and aspartame’s manufacturer covered up studies showing the neurotoxic effects of aspartame, and this artificial sweetener is in more widespread use today than ever. Dr. Betty Martini and NHF continue the fight to remove aspartame from our food supply.
• 1990-Present – Both the FDA and Monsanto lied and continue to lie to the public about the safety of GMO foods, while confronted with study results that showed one-third of rats force-fed GMO foods developed stomach lesions and several died. As GMO expert Jeffrey Smith observed, Monsanto has “got bad science down to a science.”
• 2001 – The attack on 9/11 brought both a new war, a “War on Terrorism” and yet further restrictions on our liberties, all based upon a set of lies told to us by the mainstream media and our government: that a dozen terrorists had brought down three World Trade Center towers in New York. We have learned since that day that the three buildings pancaked too perfectly in controlled demolitions, one of which was actually admitted to, by Deep-State operatives, all to start another liberty-forfeiting war.
• 2003 – The war against Iraq was launched by the United States on the false charge that Iraq was somehow involved in 9/11 and also possessed Weapons of Mass Destruction. Both charges were lies but, once again, disproved too late to stop another costly war.
• 2009 – The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Dr. Anthony Fauci warned the World about the “deadly” swine flu (H1N1 influenza virus) and promoted the swine flu vaccine as a safe deterrent. These were lies. The vaccine increased miscarriage risks in pregnant women in the U.S., provoked a spike in adolescent narcolepsy in Scandinavia, and triggered febrile convulsions in one in every 110 vaccinated children in Australia, all while the CDC inflated the number of these medical cases.[1]
• 2015-2016 – The World Health Organization (WHO) sounded the alarm over the Zika virus as the cause for a rash of microcephaly (small brain) cases in infants in Brazil. Reflecting badly once again on the WHO’s reputation, this was a false alarm as there was no association between the Zika virus and the microcephaly cases, which instead arose from toxic-pesticide exposure and other causes, as pointed out in the Spring 2016 issue of Health Freedom News.[2]
• 2020-2021 – The biggest and most stupendous government lies and trickery of all have used the COVID-19 “Fauci” coronavirus as an excuse for the destruction of our political and health freedoms through lockdowns, vaccine passports, and censorship, all to control a “pandemic” that more than 99.5% of the population survives.

Governments Lie All the Time

            They cannot help it. It’s in the nature of governments to lie so that they can stay in power. Whether it is talking to its citizens about social benefits, immigration policies, or food safety, governments lie. As the film character James Bond once remarked in the movie Goldeneye, “Governments change … the lies stay the same.”

            Why people continue to believe anything that government officials say is one of Life’s eternal mysteries. After all, men and women in “public service” are no different than any others, no matter what their professions. They put on their trousers one leg at a time just like the rest of us and are imbued with no special qualities or sainthood. Indeed, the opposite is usually the case because government officials, elected or not, are rarely held responsible for their misdeeds, have no real feedback mechanism to tell them whether they are performing properly or not, and largely keep their jobs until they retire, or God decides to retire them.

            Businesses can go bankrupt and lock their doors. Governments might, from time to time, go bankrupt, but they stay in business. And the constant stream of lies support their continued existence because there are enough gullible voters and vested interests to keep them going despite all of the suffering, harm, and deaths caused by their misdeeds and lies. Sadly, those who call for more and bigger government are simply calling for less freedom and more poverty.

COVID-19 Trickery

Lie #1: Millions Will Die. In the Winter 2019 issue of Health Freedom News, NHF was one of the first to publicly break the story of the COVID-19 scam with an article by Bill Sardi showing that the risk of dying from COVID-19 was extremely small, even if one were in the so-called “high risk” age bracket. Despite the low risk, both the mainstream media and the government were propagating the tale that “millions” would die from this novel and “deadly” coronavirus. That was a flat-out lie and they knew it.

 Lie #2: COVID-19 Arose From Nature. As all may recall, in early 2020, when COVID-19 first came to our consciousness, government officials put forth the story that this coronavirus had sprung forth from Chinese who had bought bats at an outdoor market and then cooked and eaten them. This was a blatant lie; and one that we all know now is far different from the true story, as recently admitted by the National Institutes of Health (NIH), which funded the actual “gain of function” (biological warfare) research in Wuhan that created COVID-19.[3] NIH’s admission directly contradicts the congressional testimony of Dr. Anthony Fauci, who called U.S. Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) a “liar” for having said that Fauci was lying. In fact. Senator Paul was correct, Fauci did (and does) lie and let people die.

Lie #3: Asymptomatic People Spread COVID-19. In 2020, the story was spread by government officials and “experts” that asymptomatic individuals with COVID-19 could spread the virus to others. This disinformation spread yet more fear among the population and supported calls for “lockdowns.” Yet, this lie had no basis and was soon disproven.[4]

Lie #4: Lockdown Measures Will Be Temporary. Still, as the opening months of the year 2020 advanced, the media and government alarm bells kept ringing even more insistently about this “deadly” pandemic. With the people stampeded into full-bore fear mode, Step Two of the plan was enacted, which included “temporary” lockdowns (another lie), mandated mask wearing, and an entirely new phrase to us, “social distancing.” As we all know now, the temporary lockdowns became long-term and even more severe. New lies were heaped upon old lies, and the fearful populace fell for them.

 Lie #5: Lockdowns and Masks Will Save Lives. In the Spring 2020 issue of Health Freedom News, my own article about the COVID-19 fraud being perpetrated upon the World appeared and described the harm caused to billions around the World. It was clear even then that the media and governments were lying and that the lockdowns and other mandates and measures were causing more collateral damage on multiple fronts than COVID-19 itself.[5]

Lie #6: COVID-19 Vaccines Are Safe and Effective. The National Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS), which had been created to keep track of notable adverse events associated with vaccines, typically (and very seriously) under-reports such adverse reactions, including most recently those from the COVID-19 experimental injections. The estimates of under-reporting range from only 1% of deaths and serious adverse events being reported to 8.3% being reported, with the latter percentage coming from the CDC itself.[6]

On October 22, 2021, the CDC released VAERS data that showed 818,044 reports of adverse events in all age groups following COVID-19 vaccines, including 17,128 deaths and 122,833 serious injuries for the period from December 14, 2020, to October 15, 2021. The true death rate in America from the COVID-19 vaccines appears to be closer to 200,000 people, significantly more than from the coronavirus itself.

Perhaps criminally, the CDC has been busy scrubbing from the records real COVID-19 vaccine injuries and deaths, according to Dr. Peter McCullough, the most-cited medical doctor on COVID-19.[7] The government lies yet again, this time statistically.

Moreover, none of these vaccines are as effective as they were originally touted to be![8] Most of the new COVID-19 cases in 2021 are emerging from the vaccinated and not the non-vaccinated. Even the vaccine manufacturers do not claim that their vaccines will keep you from catching or passing on to others COVID-19 infections, only that the vaccine will lessen the symptoms. In fact, the countries with the highest vaccination rates are also the very ones experiencing the highest number of COVID-19 cases.[9]

Keep in mind that none of these vaccines have been adequately tested. The persons being injected are the only test subjects! And their immune systems are being permanently and irreversibly damaged.[10]

Lie #7: Hospitals Are the Best Place To Treat COVID-19. The CDC protocol for treating COVID-19 infections is one of costly, deadly, and ineffective pharmaceutical overtreatment and use of ventilators. There is no provision made in the CDC protocol for the use of life-saving hydroxychloroquine or Ivermectin, or even intravenous (IV) Vitamin C.[11] It is statistically proven that most of the patients who die in hospitals “of COVID-19” actually died of either a co-morbidity or of medical malpractice. Hospitals truly have a “license to kill.”

            Lie #8: A COVID-19 Vaccine Has Been FDA-Approved.  On August 23-24, 2021, the FDA issued two press releases, one of which updated the Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) for a Pfizer vaccine while another approved a Pfizer vaccine. Confusion ensued from these two press releases recklessly, or deliberately, comingling the Pfizer vaccine that had its EUA updated with the FDA-approved Pfizer vaccine that is unavailable in the United States. More specifically, the FDA only approved the new Comirnaty COVID-19 shot – which is not even available in the United States – for ages 16 and older. Yet, this FDA-generated confusion has led to Americans thinking that “the Pfizer shot” is FDA approved. It is not. At least the one used in the U.S. is not.

All of the shots available in America are still under an EUA and it is a violation of Federal law to force people in any way to use medical products on the market pursuant only to an EUA. In particular, Federal law 21 U.S.C. § 360bbb-3(e)(1)(A)(ii)(III) requires that the person to whom an EUA vaccine is administered be advised, “of the option to accept or refuse administration of the product [meaning “a drug, device or biological product”], of the consequences, if any, of refusing administration of the product, and of the alternatives to the product that are available and of their benefits and risks.” See also Chamber of Commerce of U.S. v. Reich, 74 F.3d 1324, at 1339 (D.C. Cir. 1995), where the court struck down President Clinton’s executive order as being in violation of an existing statute. Here, Biden’s executive order ordering the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) to issue workplace rules mandating experimental injections violates 21 U.S.C. §360bbb, which forbids experimental procedures performed upon persons without their informed consent.

Lie #9: Vaccines Will Never Be Mandated. In 2020, anyone who predicted that the government would mandate COVID-19 vaccines was labeled a “conspiracy theorist” because government officials were at that time stating that vaccines would never be mandated. Yet, here we are with three vaccines for COVID-19 having been issued Emergency Use Authorizations (EUAs) by the FDA and now, supposedly, made compulsory for a large segment of the American population despite the existence of safer, cheaper, and more effective treatment procedures for COVID-19, such as hydroxychloroquine, zinc, intravenous Vitamin C, and Ivermectin.

Breaking his earlier promises not to mandate vaccines (made on December 4, 2020, and July 23, 2021), Joe Biden announced on Thursday, September 9, 2021, that he will use OSHA to force every American employer with 100 or more employees to inject their employees with a COVID-19 vaccine (or, in the alternative, mandate weekly testing). This mandate could encompass up to 80-100 million Americans and is to be enforced with heavy fines levied against “offenders” for each violation. This move is exceedingly dangerous as the COVID-19 “vaccines” have been shown to be more dangerous to health than COVID-19 itself, or any of its variants.

But, in yet more trickery, have these COVID-19 vaccines actually been mandated as portrayed by the mainstream media?

Lie #10: A Vaccine Mandate Has Been Issued. Let’s be clear:There is no vaccine mandate right now. What Biden announced is that he was instructing OSHA to create rules crafting a mandate. So, there can only be a mandate when OSHA creates its regulations, which it just has but which have been stayed by Federal Court order.[12]

The “Vaccine Mandate” gets a bit trickier when you try to reconcile Biden’s September 9,2021 announcement with the actual Executive Orders published in the Federal Register on that day. There are two of them: Executive Order 14042 that covers Federal contractors only, and Executive Order 14043 that covers Federal employees only. So, where is the “every employer with a 100 or more employees” order? There are no other Federal Executive Orders published – as they must be by law – in the Federal Register, so they, quite simply, do not exist, despite Joe Biden’s strong but deceitful words. More trickery, intended to fool the population into believing that the mandate is more comprehensive and immediate than it actually is.

Remember, These Are the Same People Who Have Always Lied To You

But readers can understandably ask why the government and its many minions would want to trick us with lies and other false information? What do they have to gain – other than more money, more power, and more control over us? Already, the evidence is overwhelming that incoming legislators and regulators start their careers with far less income than when they leave office. The combination of power and greed is irresistible to many.

The governments of the World are in a rush to get as many people injected as possible before the snowballing evidence of death and harm from these COVID-19 experimental injections reaches a critical mass and explodes into widespread common knowledge and outrage. At the same time, some U.S. State legislators and governors are taking action to halt the madness. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has forcefully exposed the Federal government’s lies and ordered that the Florida Attorney General file legal action to stop the mandate. Texas Governor Greg Abbott recently issued an executive order prohibiting any businesses or organizations in Texas from mandating COVID-19 vaccines. And on October 26, 2021, it was reported that Alabama Republican Governor Kay Ivey signed an executive order directing Alabama State agencies to resist Biden’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate. Resistance is building and spreading.

It’s Not About Health

None of this is about health. It’s about control and power over you, the reader. If it were about health, then why wouldn’t the government allow those who have had and survived COVID-19, and hence have developed superior-to-vaccine natural immunity, to have the same travel and social rights as the vaccinated? Because it is all about setting us up to take away our basic, human freedoms.

Perhaps Florida’s Surgeon General Joseph Ladapo said it best, “So this idea that the vaccine mandates are needed to create safe workplaces is a complete lie. It’s continued to be repeated. And you should know that it’s not at all backed up by science. Yes, Surgeon General Ladapo, you are right to call out the liars. As I write this with Halloween and its bag of tricks just past, millions of Americans and others around the World are absolutely disgusted and angry with yet another, more serious kind of trickery that has been played upon them for decades now. The trickery and lies did not start in 2020, but they have had their roots deep in our history. It is time for these lies and tricks to stop, and the way to stop them is through political action, non-compliance, peaceful mass civil disobedience, and massive legal action.
